A Community of Support
The Philadelphia Center for EFT was founded to help nurture the growth of EFT. The Board of Directors and active members work to ensure that therapists at every stage of learning have resources for assistance and support. We offer all the training and supervision needed to become a proficient EFT therapist. But, perhaps even more importantly, we provide students and practitioners of EFT a true sense of community. You will find colleagues who welcome your questions, are dedicated to continued learning, and are aware of your concerns — because we’ve taken this path ourselves.
We have personally experienced the challenges and rewards of learning this unique model. Because we understand that the need for emotional safety extends to therapists learning and practicing EFT, we work hard to create an atmosphere where collaboration, not competition, is the norm. The personal and professional growth we have experienced as EFT therapists reinforces our desire to encourage other therapists to explore this path.
We invite you to join our growing community of EFT practitioners. Membership is open to all licensed mental health professionals who have completed the EFT externship and are current members of our parent organization, The International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT).
We also encourage graduate students in psychology, social work, counseling and marriage and family therapy programs to become student members of PCEFT. The requirement to be an ICEEFT member is waived for students. Joining PCEFT is a great way to network with professionals in the field and be involved in a growing EFT community early in your professional career.
The benefits of membership include:
- Expanding your network of like-minded colleagues
- Support and mentoring for therapists pursuing EFT Certification
- Listing in the PCEFT therapist directory
- Free quarterly clinical seminars
- 10% discount on workshops and training
Annual membership dues: $75/Full Member or $25/Student Member
